  • What we do?

King ori Teachers College (KTC) is a co-educational teacher training college offering teachers education at Certificate and Diploma level. The college is fully registered and accredited by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology, The National Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA) as well as the National Council for Technical Education.

  • Where are we located?

Situated on the slopes of Mt. Meru in Arusha region, KTC welcomes all qualified students from all parts of the country and from all around the globe. In addition to qualifications, the students must be willing and have the vocation to become teachers.

  • Our Philosphy

Here at KTC, we receive day students from the region (Arusha) and provide hostel services for students living outside Arusha. We aim to prepare highly qualified teachers for primary and secondary schools. We strongly believe that the transformation of education in Tanzania has to start with the transformation of teachers at lower levels.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT

My time at KTC was great and a memory to cherish for a lifetime. It was full of learning and grooming oneself. It gave me an opportunity to meet different kinds of people and learned many things. I am thankful to all the faculties, mentors, and fellow students.
